As a performer Catherine has worked on many innovative and exciting projects. These include as soloist in John Cage's Aria with Merce Cunningham Dance Company at Theatre de la Ville Paris, with Erratica in Triptych at The Print Room Notting Hill and as part of Spitalfields Music Festival, in David Lang's The Little Match Girl Passion at Spaces Hackney Wick and in Celestina an installation opera for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Catherine sung and performed in Orographic with Oceanallover as part of Glasgow 2018 and The Orkney Science Festival. Catherine was vocal soloist in House of Sound for Iain Chambers; performed in Lyrebird a Musical Rumpus for Spitalfields Music which toured London, the UK and Denmark; sung and created 'Sonic Trail for the Filters' a solo commission by Tate Britain; performed in the Bascule Chambers with Iain Chambers as part of Totally Thames; performed Cage, Berberian and Oliveros for Aurora Orchestra's Lock-in series at Kings Place; was soloist and chorus in the world premier of K Stockhausen's Mittwoch aus Licht for Birmingham Opera Company; mezzo soloist in The Difference Engine an RPS Drummond Award commission including a recording of the piece with the Arditti String Quartet; mezzo soloist in John Cage MusiCircus at English National Opera and has worked extensively with the Langham Research Centre for gigs at The Barbican; Kettle's Yard New Music Series & Cafe Oto as well as at The Borealis Festival in London. She has made recordings for Sub Rosa record label; the Stockhausen Foundation and Amirani records.

TROUPE's most recent production The Empty Chair was supported by Arts Council England, Aldeburgh Music and The Cooper Hall Foundation. It premiered at Spitalfileds winter Festival 2016 and will tour in 2018 to Wigmore Hall, Snape Maltings, National Centre for Early Music, Saffron Hall and the Welsh Academy of Music and Drama. TROUPE's previous production The Bad Mood was performed at Spitalfields Summer Festival, Wigmore Hall, Omnibus Arts and Clapham Chamber Concerts. In 2018 the Bad Mood toured to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
After graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in music, Catherine went on to Trinity Laban to study voice receiving a distinction for her MMus as well as the contemporary music prize. Catherine now lives and works in London.
